IDFPR Encourages On Line Renewal
The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation is encouraging the online renewal of Real Estate Broker Licenses.
Around the first week of February, Broker licensees will begin receiving a postcard from the IDFPR. Watch for the postcard and do not throw it away! It contains your personal pin number, which is required for online renewal.
Once you have completed your continuing education requirements you will be able to go online and renew your license. Please feel free to contact Your House Academy with any questions about your renewal requirements.
If for security concerns, you prefer to renew by mail, use of the pin number will generate a paper renewal notice which may be mailed in with your renewal fee.
Sources at the IDFPR have informed us that the postcards will be going out in February and that hard copy renewal notices will be sent to those who do not renew online some time in March or April.
The quickest and easiest way to renew will be online, so watch for that postcard with your pin number in order to take advantage of the online renewal process.
If you have any questions about the renewal process, contact the Illinois Real Estate Academy Inc., DBA Your House Academy, a licensed Illinois real estate continuing education provider. Your foundation for real estate education since 1979.
